Amy George creates images of children that capture fleeting moments. Her approachable, engaging style and discerning spirit allow her to capture insightful images that affirm the unique perspective and personality of each child. Amy works primarily in reportage style, using available light to photograph children in their home or other familiar environments.

"It is my hope that preserving these moments in time will contribute to a child's sense of self and history as they grow, in a way that values their identity, individuality and worth."

Amy also enjoys creating new ways to use, share, and display photographs in everyday life. From custom handmade holiday cards, and notecards that share a single moment, to "a day in the life" or birthday party memory books that include a series of moments, Amy strives to convey a sense of time and place with thoughtful design. A photo session can be planned for a particular end-use or card concept, or it can be a spontaneous record of a precious time period.
